NATIONAL AVIATION YOUTH RESOURCES
After traveling to Disney when I was 5 years old, I knew then I wanted to be an airline pilot. Upon graduation from high school, I ventured to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to pursue the dream I had always envisioned. Throughout the process my parents stood by me even though I was the first in my family to be in the aviation industry. Upon completion of my flight hours and schooling, I maneuvered my way back to Indianapolis. It was then I realized youth do not have an option to explore the various careers in the aviation industry. In fact, being a minority in the airline industry is rare, however, the opportunities are endless! I started the foundation in order to give back to not only minority youth, but ALL youth interested in working in the aviation industry. The program has grown over the past several years to significant heights. It does not matter how big we get, I always keep at the forefront I am doing this for the youth of tomorrow! Keeping that vision I am able to reach students from all over Indiana to instill in them the passion, drive, and mentorship it takes to change the world and reach their potential!
I want each child that attends our experiences to not only feel welcomed and empowered, but understand they have a true mentor to help them achieve whatever dreams they may have. I understand the challenges it may take, however, everything is possible with the right mindset and push from those who care! I AM HERE!! Lets start this journey!
